Handwashing is the best and safest way for washing activewear and lycra garments.
Add delicate detergent to a sink filled with cool water. Submerge the garment and gently agitate the water with your hands to evenly distribute soap and soak up to 30 minutes. Rinse well with cool water, do not wring. Instead, press the water out of the item and lay flat to dry.
If you decide to wash the clothes in a washing machine now and then, use a mesh washing bag to prevent tearing in the machine.
Select the delicate cycle and use cool water and a delicate detergent.
Always air-dry activewear, the heat of the dryer will reduce the fabric’s elasticity.
